Homewood Suites by Hilton Phoenix/Chandler

We booked this hotel for a quick night and were pleasantly surprised with what a fantastic experience we had. The grounds are nice, the staff is friendly, and the breakfast was above and beyond the average complimentary hotel breakfast. Great customer service. The room was nice and the bed was really comfortable. Some features of the space are dated or in the process of being updated, but everything is functional and clean--absolutely clean, which for me is the thing I want most from my hotel experience.

Okay location. Lot of renters and pot smokers living there. Breakfast was horrible. Thank God the yogurt is prepackaged. Elise was amazing and really helpful. Joseph was a very and has customer service issues. Room was nice. Carpet needs updating. Fitness center was nice, but needed wiping down. No sanitary wipe available. A coffee was good, but never hot.

Its tough to really paint an accurate picture of all the levels of incompetence that occurred at this hotel. The leadership team, really needs to be evaluated as this does not get to this point without a disconnected GM. First want to say that I am a Diamond member and have stayed in Hilton hotels for more than 100 days this year. I am currently on a 9 day stay. 1. Ice Maker not working 2. 1 fork and unfortunately they had no more forks to give me so they provided me plastic forks. 3. Every dish was dirty, not almost every dish- Every dish. 4. Ceiling fan, light does not work 5. Had a 1/2 roll of toilet paper when I arrived. I was able to get an additional one from the housekeeper as she was very nice. 6.Blanket that was provided has stains on it. 7. Requested housekeeping- nobody has come since the 2 request for more than 72 hours as I write this 8. Hotel staff are not empowered to do provide solutions. They are absolutely paralyzed an need to escalate even getting a fork or new blanket. 9. Went to unload dishwasher my dishwasher today and it literally feel forward to the floor as its half the size of the hole that was designed for it. I felt a pop in my back but as of now, there is no pain but if there is then we have another issue. I have taken 20 picture of the condition of the place and will be filing a case with Hilton to ensure this facility is given the attention it deserves. I am not a Karen or a complaining guest as its a hotel, NOT a resort, so I understand reasonable expectations. This place has created stress throughout my entire stay.

This hotel did not meet expectations for staying at a Hilton. The first night we got in, dropped our stuff in the room and went right out to catch an event we had planned. We got back in late around 10pm. Went to bed and the next morning as I opened the curtains I noticed the bed we slept in had time stains. Big stains. Went to shower right away and the shower wasn’t working. No water was coming out. Went to the front desk to make the issues known to them. Asked what they would do to make it right. They did switch rooms. We left for an event. Got back in that evening and went to bed. The next morning we found out there was no shower gel or shampoo in the shower. Just empty bottles. The shower drain was backing up. Made it known to the front desk again and asked how they would make the entire stay right. I had to go through the Hilton complaint line which they were basically meditating for us to them. All they offered at that time was a 10 percent discount on that first right. Very disappointed. Never have I ever experienced just a bad stay at any Hilton establishment. I would not recommend anyone stay here at this location. I felt they didn’t care to rectify the situation to the best that they could. A 10 percent discount on the first night isn’t showing that they care about customer experience. Very disappointed.

I stayed there for two weeks, but for the last week of my trip, I moved elsewhere outside the Hilton group as this stay was too bad. The only thing I regret is that I didn't do it earlier. The first room was way too noisy even when the A/C was off and Wi-fi was not working. When asked the receptionist for help, he said that I had to call for phone support myself. Being a foreigner I couldn't do it. I didn't have the US cell number. Therefore they moved me to the other room, but it was much older and didn't have all cutlery and furniture. Both rooms had carpet on the floor that I see as not hygienic and was not vacuumed very often (maybe once a week when I asked for it). The gym had old equipment and being at the pool was painful as all the inner room A/C exhausts are pointed directly inward toward the pool area, so calling or just being there in the pool area was extremely uncomfortable. Breakfast: Not many options at all, wasteful, and normal cutlery not available. I don't understand why plastic which is banned in most countries, could be so widely used for normal breakfast. To avoid waste and consuming extra microplastics I had to ask for metal cutlery every day and only teaspoons and one fork were available. Some days even that fork was not available so eat my breakfast only with two teaspoons! The ketchup and honey were available in tiny plastic bags that contained more plastic than actual content (honey or ketchup). Honey was available only for the first week and the newer ever refilled even I asked. Also, I had an EV car rented and there is no place nearby to charge it. Therefore I am sure I never ever come back to this hotel whenever I will come back.

Starting with my car getting broken into with no cameras or security $5000+ in damages. First room no ac, the room we ended with had a toilet that didn't work. The tub had been resurfaced and no appliques so it was dangerous. The toilet paper holder was hanging off the wall, and the toilet seat was like a theme park ride. I would recommend staying at motel 6.
